Grandmother  Tacy maiden name Roecliff born 1913
Grandfather    Samuel Neil
Had my mother in Dublin in 1948
One Auntie born to a previous man by the surname Currie
They all moved to England roughly 1951
Where my Grandad added an O' to the Neill becoming O'neill
This is confusing I know but my mother has nothing of her mother or fathers
Also the names could of been spelt a touch different.
I have just spelt it Guessing really..
Much appriciation if anyone can help in anyway..
Thanks in advance

Welcome to RootsChat
I can see a Tacey Rocliff born in Dublin but in 1881!

might be an older relative.

Mum said her mother Roecliff originated from America to Ireland then left Ireland in 1951 as my grandfather was apparently working in Ireland when they met - he originated from England ??? So  I think I may need to call tomorrow and get more facts ✍🏻 as this is no way an easy one lol cheers
For your help much appreciated

Found another one 1898, like the first one she is has the second name Sarah, the surname is Rocliffe this time.

There are a couple of couples with this spelling having children during the period you need but I haven't found a Tacy yet.

Mum said her mother Roecliff originated from America to Ireland

So are we looking for a birth in America rather than Ireland?

Hi sinann
Yes you could be actually correct if there were a few ancestors that emagrated.
And when if mum knows the family arrived in Ireland.
Thanks again

There's a Samuel Patrick O'Neill on that list as well.
