Elinor married Patrick Necy in Ardee Louth in 1902

I believe this is her in 1901

It's quite possible Elizabeth is her Grandmother rather than her Aunt, I've seen grandchildren put down as niece or nephew a few times.
Correction Elizabeth wasn't married so an aunt or given her age a gran aunt

Tacy did indeed die in 1976:

Tacy Sara O'Neill b.28/12/1913, death Sept.1976 Salford (names as spelt in index).

No wonder my poor mother knows nothing about herself she has no birth certificate...
We don't give the names of living people on RootsChat but there is a daughter born to O'Neill and Rocliffe in
Dublin North 1948.

It's an entry in an index, you can find it yourself here, it says only what Annette has posted.

Bambam, this was just an entry of her death in the GRO Death Index.   You'd have to purchase the death certificate to find out what was on it although I don't think it states number of children (if I'm wrong about that I'm sure someone else reading this thread will know).

You're right there, Annette. It won't tell you anything about the number of children.

The problem with a death certificate is that it is totally reliant on the person who registers the death. If that is a family member the details may be correct but even then dates, names etc may not be right. If the death is registered by someone who didn’t know the person very well, there may not be many details at all.

The GRO are issuing death certificates on line at the moment for £6 each rather than the usual £9.50. The best thing is to get the certificate and go from there.
