Alexander Thomson and his daughter Ann Copland Thomson

Alexander Thomson born Aberdeen (1869,) parents Alexander Spalding Thomson (1847-1897) and Mary Ann Henderson (1847-1883) moved to 42 Coburg Street, North Shields (1911 census) along with his family including daughter Ann Copland Thomson (1899).  The rest of the family I have traced back to Peterhead/Aberdeen but these 2 are proving elusive.  In his wife's register of death she is already a widow in 1928,  does anyone have any ideas please?  Thanks.

What is it you're trying to find out about Alexander Thomson and Ann Copland Thomson? What happened to them after 1911?

Mary Copland died in 1928 in Aberdeen but I cannot find any mention of Ann Copland Thomson (marriage nor death) nor of Alexander Thomson.  Thanks.

Mary Thomson (nee Copland)'s death was registered in Nigg, Kincardineshire in 1928 (ref 266/113). Looks like her daughter died the year before, unmarried, as there is also a death record for an Annie Copland Thomson, aged 28, in 1927 in Nigg (ref 266/106).

Yes that is the right Ann Copland Thomson thank you and it says that her father Alexander is already dead by November 1927.

I can't see an obvious death for Alexander Thomson, but his two other daughters married in Nigg as follows, so having a look at the marriage records should confirm whether their father died before then:

Henrietta Thomson married James Gover in Nigg in 1918
Williamina Anna Thomson married John Henderson Cooper in 1920 in Nigg
