Hello,

My 3 x Great Grandmother Frances Elliott died in the Lambeth Workhouse Infirmary on 14 Dec 1875. I would like to know how I can go about obtaining her admission records?  I believe she must have entered the workhouse between 1871 and 1875 as she last appears on the 1871 census working as a charwoman in Lambeth.

Her date of birth is 6 Aug 1803 in South Shields.

Any information that I can obtain about her would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Sherilla

Unfortunately, I think the records have only been retained from 1877
