Also - that marriage you show doesn't bode well

Looks like the 1865 Chorlton Birth entry might not be of any help either if I go by this Marriage listing:

If they are a match then it doesn't look good for the family I am after

Have received the above certificate and as expected Mary Ann's father WAS NOT PATRICK Occ. SHOEMAKER.

I wasn't that hopeful but now, there it is in B&W - father John Reynolds.

Maybe I will give up :-(
