Jane Adams Baptism
« on: Monday 23 October 17 22:04 BST (UK) »
Hi,
Could someone look up a baptism for me, for my ancestor Jane Adams?
She became Mrs Thomas Marshall in 1833 when they married in Aldbrough, but I have never been able to locate a baptism record for her.
According to the 1851 census she was born in Hornsea about 1814.
I have found baptism records for various children of Christopher and Jane Adams, who lived in that area, and wondered if she could also gave been their child.
Any information would be much appreciated,
Christine

Hi Christine....The closest match that I could find on Familysearch was Jane Adamson born in Aldbrough wrongly spelt as Aldborough in 1810 to Thomas and Grace.

Hi

Aldborough is near York, Aldbrough is near Hornsea, very easy to get the two mixed up, I know because I've done it.
