Many thanks again. Fly in the ointment is another William b. 1787 [St Nicholas], parents = John & Abigail. That said the tree looks good and supports a lot of info I am aware of after the marriage.

Unable to pin down Sarah's birth, there are 5 possibles on FreeReg, though 2 are probably a little too far away..

I could'nt find a birth for Sarah either. View FamilySearch trees with caution unless there are citations for the records.

It's possible (and happened frequently at the time) that the first baby died and then when the next one arrived the parents gave it the name of the deceased baby.

Do you have William/Sarah in 1841/1851 Census?
Or Burials for them?

I can find several Children Great Yarmouth to a William/Sarah on one Susannah 1825 William is a Shipwright.
Is that the correct William?

1841 Census
Great Yarmouth
Willm Ellis, 50, Shipwright
Ann Ellis, 45

1851 this William is born c 1787 Great Yarmouth, Occp Shipwright.
Wife Anne.

1861  same details.

FreeREG has a SARAH Ellis Burial 15 Nov 1835 St Nicholas, age 50****

So this found by solidrock appears to be the one above;
William Ellis. baptised 08 Aug 1786. St Nicholas. Gt. Yarmouth. born 06 Aug 1786. father Robert.  mother Susan.

Baptisms;
WILLIAM ROE Ellis 10 Jan 1810, Birth 7 Jan 1810
ROBERT Ellis 9 April 1812
ELEANOR Ellis 15 Aug 1814 (Father a Shipwright)
MARY ANNE Ellis 11 Oct 1819 (Shipwright)
SUSANNAH Ellis 25 Sept 1825 (Shipwright)

Susannah married John AMESS 1848, Father William, Shipwright
