No sound on Messenger.

I am receiving a picture that is ok.  The sound is not on at all.  Any ideas?

Are you talking about  "notification sound" or?

I  am speaking about no sound when both pictures are working.  I have tried to ajust the sound but with no success.

Is this Facebook Messenger? Yahoo Messenger? Or something else?

The only one I am familiar with is Facebook Messenger, and I didn't know it did oictures, let alone sound?

Is this on your desktop computer,laptop,tablet or mobile phone?

What do you normally use sound for with this messenger? I think you may have to explain yourself a little more fully for us to be able to help you.

I think it works the same way as Skype doesn't it, with the option of text, voice or video? There are a few people on different forums that solved the problem by downloading the latest version.
