Death certificate
« on: Thursday 26 October 17 20:16 BST (UK) »
Hi All
I hope someone can please help me, I'm trying to find where to get a death certificate from for someone who died in Clones in 1944. I'm trying to help an elderly lady find where her mother is buried. she has no relatives to ask, the family split up and her father remarried not long after.
If you can point me in the right direction we will be very grateful.
Kind regards
Beannie

If it was registered you will get it free on Irish Genealogy
There are several registrations districts in Monaghan you can see them here
http://www.swilson.info/regdistmap.php
Search
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp
The cert however won't tell you where she is buried.

Missed the Clones in you post

If you posted some details it would help....name, religion
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Hi Sinnan
Thank you so much for the links,
I've found what I think is her death in 1942 aged 27 years,
More exciting I've found her marriage in 1934
How do I know send for the certificates?
Kind regards
Beannie

Hi Hallmark,
This is absolutely amazing!!
I didn't think to click on it, I didn't think there would be anything.
I went back on and found their marriage, so have details for that now, she will be so thrilled when I show her, I can't thank you and Sinnan enough.
Two small pieces of the jigsaw already, the hard part now is back tracking for her birth.
I'm well and truly hooked now,
Kind regards
Beanie
