Help tracing birth/baptism of Maria Eliza Richardson c1832 Paris France

I am trying to find a birth or baptism of Maria Eliza Richardson - on English cenusus's her birth is given as Paris France and year of birth 1832 (plus or minus 1 year)
Her parents are William Richardson and Eliza Simpson. She was their first child.
Another daughter Laura was born in France c1835

The next daughter Margaret Isabella was born in Ireland c1840

Catherine Smith Richardson was born Birkenhead 13th Oct 1841.

They were around that area for 10 years where he was a schoolmaster then he went into the ministry.

He was born in Morland Westmorland and went to Oxford in 1818

Is there any way of tracing the baptisms in France?

Also has anyone any ideas why he should be in France then Ireland? His wife would be with him.

However note that the Paris civil records from before 1860 were only "reconstituted" in part because the originals (and even the original copies) were entirely destroyed by fires at the end of the Paris Commune in 1871.

Thank you very much for the reply and this Birth Notice. That is amazing! I am cautiously optimistic  this must be her. Her age does deviate a bit on the census's from being born 1832 to 1834. But always in Paris France. However she I haven't seen her name with a Louise on anything.

I am not able to read most of what is on the website but is this an index or an actual certificate of birth?

I just can't think why they would be there.

The original civil records are all lost as explained.
However there are some parish records, I checked the protestant baptisms (see Familysearch website) unfortunately it turns out the Marie Louise Elisa mentioned in previous email is not the one you're looking for; her parents are Alexandre Richardson and M.C. Russier - so we can forget about this lead.

I am wondering if he was in France with the Army because he was then in Ireland around 1840 when a daughter Margaret Isabella was born then in Birkenhead in 1841. Listed as a School Master.
Margaret Isabella was 20 months when the census was taken so they must have been in Ireland 1839/40 when she was born.

I doubt he entered the army. It seems to me more likely he was in Paris as a teacher (perhaps teaching the children of British expatriates in Paris) or something to do with his religious work.

Do you know where/when William and Eliza married? Is it possible this also took place in France?

I can't find a marriage.
But I have sent for a Birth Cert of their daughter Catherine Smith Richardson born October 1841 Birkenhead and it says her father is William Richardson Gentleman and her mother is Eliza Richardson formerly Simpson.
Would a Gentleman be teaching children abroad?

On the census's Eliza is born around 1815 Whitby Yorks. I can not find a birth for her which I am totally convinced about. There is one of  an Eliza Harding Simpson baptised 1812 at Scarborough.

I had wondered if William & Eliz married around Whitby but can't find a marriage there or anywhere in Britain. Had wondered if they may have married abroad.

Any ideas gratefully received.
