Hi,

I was wondering if I could please get someone's help for a family member that I am struggling to locate for some of her records. She was born c.1877, and on her marriage certificate from 1896 it lists her father as James Gandy, Cab Driver. I can't find her before her birth, nor on the censuses before she married. Is anyone able to help me find her? Her name isn't too common, but I can't seem to locate her.

what does she give as place of birth in 1901/1911.

You've not given that, nor even her married name.

what names witnessed?

She married a Richard Francis Stafford, known by Frank.

Witnesses: James Thomas Ledger & Ellen Ledger.

there's a good fit for James Gandy on 1881in Everton. He's a coachman, domestic - unmarried. Might explain why no birth for Florence as Gandy.

If you can see the 1911 census image, don;t know if it's me, but something looks a bit odd about the "years married" figure
