Well he's still a mystery, it's like he's been drafted into the family in 1891 and 1901 and then disappears?
I'm aware of the other Bertie James 1886-1971 as he is also a relation/ancestor of mine.

Bertram Charles Chambers gives his father as  Charles Chambers (decd) occ Valet when he marries in 1918.
