How Can I Turn Off Email Notifications From FaceBook Please???

Hi Folks,

This has me completely confused 

I joined a FB page a few years ago although I can't recall if an email address was needed (probably was) but no matter...

The email address I had then is now an old email address & fairly recently (last 6-9 months) I had to open a new email address as I couldn't get emails although I could send them but I was also able to receive JUNK emails, just not normal emails 

Anyway, on my new email address which very few people have as yet, I'm getting email notifications from the FB page which will have my old email address so how am I getting notifications on my new email address & how can I turn them OFF from arriving in my email inbox as I already get notifications of replies to posts I take part in on the FB page?

It's driving me nuts having to delete the messages which I don't need or want

If you go into Settings (the down arrow top right), Notifications is on the left hand menu, and within that is the option to turn emails off.

If I remember correctly you have to turn off notifications for each "friend" well anyway that's what I had to do.

I checked my emails yesterday & think the problem is solved as I had no fb messages 

I will keep a check from when I next post on the fb page!
