Attempting to confirm a marriage

Greetings all -

I am attempting to confirm a second marriage for my 2X great grandfather James ADAM in Glasgow. I have reason to believe he married a Catherine (sp?) BRYSON in the District of Blythswood on 23 September 1886. He would have been about 45 years old and she was a few years younger. Her mothers maiden name may have been CAMERON.

As always any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
