Durweston registers, pre-1730?
« on: Thursday 02 November 17 20:28 GMT (UK) »
Hello everyone!

In tracing my family through Dorset I've noticed that there don't seem to be any baptismal, marriage or death records that pre-date 1730 for the parish of Durweston. Familysearch indicate that they don't have these records, nor are they on Ancestry or in the Dorset OPC.

Would anybody know what has happened to these pre-1730 parish registers from Durweston?

Cheers,
Mario

Hi
Yes the records for Durweston start in 1730 so it looks like you'll need the adjacent parishes.
