Empress of Anshiba
« on: Friday 03 November 17 11:34 GMT (UK) »
My Dad sailed on this ship in June 1942 - Liverpool to Port Suez.  I have done numerous searches (including ConvoyWeb), but cannot find any ship by this name.
I have attached a clipping from the war diary, and I believe that I have the correct name as shown.
Any assistance / advice, would be most welcome.

I am Zoe Northeast, granddaughter of Maximilian Double.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
Zoe
