Where did the "Burton" part come from?

In case it may be relevant . . . . .
there is a Harold Burton Haynes 22/Jul/1908-QJun1974(Torbay)
but is he Harold William QSep1908 NewtonAbbot?  (mmn Winser)

Determined not to give up on her!

Having a look in 1891 and, wrong name I know, but there is a Bertha Haymes corrected to Haynes
age 18 servant born Newton Abbott with the Crether family.
Plus it's in Wolborough

Now I can't see a birth for a Bertha Haymes or Haynes so one to check out just in case  :)

I can find 14 Haynes/Slocombe births in Newton Abbot so we know who the players are

Florence 1866
Mary Ella 1868
Jenny Burton 1873
Polly 1875
Eva Sabrina 1884
Rosaline 1885
Daisy May 1890

Frank 1881
Harry 1879
James Clement 1882
Bill 1878
Tom 1876
Fred 1870
Thomas Albert 1867

So still missing one.  There's a Lucy 17 in 1881 and 7 in 1871.  Maybe Lucy Jane Slocombe 1864 no mothers name so born before the marriage.  So that's all 15 if she was included.
