Where did they marry?
« on: Tuesday 07 November 17 11:14 GMT (UK) »
Is there any way of finding which church a couple married please?  I know it is Lincoln, August 1940.

Thanks for any suggestions.

If C of E it would likely have been in the bride's home parish.

Perhaps the 1939 Register would give a clue as to where she was living. :)

Thanks Geoff.  They lived on Cromwell Street, so I guess it could have been All Saints on Monks Road. Will the records be on Lincs to the Past?

Could have been a Register office marriage. The certificate is the way to go  ;)

I can always look it up in a newspaper archive.
