Can anybody recommend a scanner app which I can use with my I phone or I pad and transfer to my family tree site please.

I've had good experience with Google Photo Scan.   https://www.google.com/photos/scan/

There seems to be an Apple version available (iOS 8.1 or later), although I used Android version.

There are quite a variety to choose from in Apple App Store.
