Potential from 1841 for Joseph

Bath St

Robt Walker    20
Ann Walker    20
Anne Walker    1
John Walker    4
Joseph Walker    25 - carder
Hannah Walker    65
Hannah Walker    25

HO107, 536, 34, 18

Not an obvious Sarah living elsewhere in Bolton - potentially one servant in Little Lever, otherwise two who appear to be with spouses

There was also a marriage of a Joseph Walker to Sarah Reeve at Bolton in 1840. (LAN OPC)
Burials at Bolton to consider:
1842 Sarah, wife of Joseph. Age was 30 or 38.
1859 Joseph Walker aged 63. (a bit older than your Joseph)
1840 Joseph, infant son of Joseph Walker, abode Salford.
1845 Joseph, infant son of Joseph Walker, abode Salford.

GRO has the 1842 death as aged 37

Yes. I've just found it on Lancs BMD. Sub district Western Bolton.
The entries in the burial registers on LAN OPC are:
12th Oct. 1842 Christ Church, Deane. Sarah Walker aged 30, wife of Joseph. Abode Great Bolton.
13th Oct. 1842 St. Peter, Bolton. Sarah Walker aged 38, wife of Joseph. Abode Great Bolton. A note says "buried at Christ Church".
A better fit age-wise for the Sarah Walker from Commission St.

2 more Sarah Walker deaths to consider:
1853 age 34, Eastern Bolton.
1860 age 34, Lever.
I couldn't see any deaths of a Joseph Walker of a similar age in the Bolton area 1851-1861.
I only checked Lancashire BMD for deaths of Sarah and Joseph registered in Bolton during that decade. They may have gone to live elsewhere and died there.

Is there a duplicate entry for 1842? If 30, it could well be my Sarah.

GRO says 37 plus there's a 38 also....

Best spend my £6 I think!

If we have reached as far as we can, a very big thank you for your efforts.

Again, I have learnt that I need to look at nearby residences in case the family resides there.

In all probability it was the same woman. She was buried at Christ Church, Deane on 12th October and recorded in the burial register of that church. The next day, 13th October, the information about the burial would have been entered in the burials register of St. Peter, Bolton, because St. Peter was the Parish Church of Bolton.
I got the information from transcripts on Lancashire Online Parish Clerks website. The age of 30 is most likely an incorrect transcription for 38.
IMO she was more likely to have been the other Sarah Walker (nee Reeve), married to the other Joseph Walker and residing in Commission St. Her death was too early if your Sarah was still alive in 1851.
