Briggs company/store in Bantry?

Hello! I have a letter written in the 1960s/70s that mentions a relative who worked as a secretary at Briggs in Bantrytown. I have been unable to find any record of a company/store called Briggs. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!

Could it be G W Biggs & Co  (George)

Biggs has been in Bantry since the late 1800s - George Biggs shown as a Corn Merchant in 1901 and 1911 on the census and on Guy's Directory of Munster 1893

The company is still registered as being in business 91 years and operates several businesses under the name G. W. Biggs & Company but has directors of another name now

Byrne [Carthy], Keeffe/ Germaine, Butler/ McDermott, Giblin/ Lally, Dolan
Toole, Doran; Dowling, Grogan/ Reilly, Burke; Warren, Kidd [Lawless]/ Smith, Scally; Mangan, Rodgers/ Fahy, Calday; Staunton, Miller
Further generations:
