It's the right tree in FamilySearch but not sure about the facts, It has John's death 1884 Sowerby Bridge, Yorkshire and Thomas's death 1911 Victoria.

I am revisiting this topic hoping that I may have discovered further evidence that the John Wyatt who drowned Cairns 1907 is my connection bC1826 Glossop Derbyshire.
I believe he arrived 1863 om "Sunda" Maryborough Queensland.
There is a monument for him at McLeod St Pioneer Cemetery.
Doubt arises as to his age ie 80 instead of 60.
I need to establish if he is referred to in an article in the Brisbane Courier 2nd Dec 1885 might be him:
https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/3453717

The article headed "Watsonville" may mention him .
I gather that this location is about 7 miles north west of Heberton.
https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/3453717

Was Jack Wyatt in partnership with Bob Watson in the Royal Standard Claim?

I am hoping someone has further knowledge which will help me identify my John Wyatt.

I was previously advised that he might have been in partnership with Bob Watson and John O,Doherty.

With thanks

Wyatt and Wood of Glossop, Derbyshire. Longstaff of Bishop Auckland,Durham. Harry of St Austell and St Kew,Cornwall. Charters of County Antrim.Knight of Warwickshire.Hendy of Ballyedmonduff.
