The Scottish Genealogy Society's last meeting in the current Syllabus will take place on Monday 20 November when we will have a talk by Mary Contini entitled “Scottish Italians – Immigrant Families in the 20th Century”. This will be of interest to many members as I think most of us frequented a local Italian ice cream parlour or chip shop when growing up. As usual the meeting will start at 7.30pm at the Augustine United Church Centre, 41 George IV Bridge, Edinburgh. Non-members are welcome to come along for a small donation. Tea, coffee & biscuits will be available afterwards.
