Anyone near Truro record office?
« on: Wednesday 08 November 17 17:02 GMT (UK) »
Greetings

Is there anyone near Cornwall record office in Truro who would be willing (for full reimbursement of charges and expenses) to get copies of between five and fifteen wills for me?

I would happily pay a lump sum in advance (cheque in post, debit transfer or paypal) of an estimated amount and, if the total came to more, pay the balance.

If you can help, please send me a personal message and I will supply all the names, file numbers etc.

Many thanks in advance
Philip

you can ask the record office for copies and pay by card. They also have a list of research agents.

Thank you for replying.

On a (very) limited budget the cost of copies at £1 per sheet and handling charges does rather mount up!  The £5 daily camera charge is very reasonable but distance and health prevent me from getting to Truro.

Ah well, maybe one day.....
