Can Someone Remove The Lad From The Memorial.
« on: Thursday 09 November 17 00:25 GMT (UK) »
This was taken in 1958. The top of the memorial was broken off in the early 1990's and photos of the complete memorial are like hen's teeth. It commemorates a battle in NZ and was erected in 1916, a photo was taken on the day, which was rainy and there were a lot of people standing in front. (The lad in the photo passed away about 5 years ago)
Thanks

Wow, what quick work.  They are all wonderfully done, thank you very very much.
My older brother took the photo when aged about 16 and also developed and printed it. He will be thrilled to see them all.
Thank you again.

Peter,
Thank you. It is amazing how the old photograph has come up clear and sharp.  There is a very talented and patient bunch of restorers out there.
Cheers
