my Mom at Christmas past
« on: Thursday 09 November 17 16:58 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

I hope I can get some help with this pic of my Mom, Clare. I am putting together a book of poems that were told to her as a child and will be passed down to her future Great grandchild about to be born!

Thanks...Lisa

a rescan of just the photo might help and would allow a better scan within the file size limit perhaps

Thank you Japeflakes!! Great advise...this picture looks great.  Trishanne, this is such a great memory...thank you!  I can't believe the fantastic job you both did to bring my childhood back with such clarity.   Best... Lisa

My pleasure, Lisa. By the way, welcome to Rootschat!
I wasn't quite sure what that was up the back on your mum's right, so I showed my wife and she took one look at it and said it's a porcelain doll lying on its back on a box. I hope it brings back memories for you.
Cheers, Peter.
