COMPLETE: Interpretation of Handwriting
« on: Friday 10 November 17 17:40 GMT (UK) »
The place of birth outlined in red looks like "Ireland" but it also shows that it is in Yorkshire?
Other Census records shows him being born in Coventry & Stoke, so he is all over the place !!

Any suggestions .. all help appreciated :-)

I think, if you look again, that Yorkshire has been crossed through!!
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Surely the 'do' for Yorkshire has been crossed out?

Thanks for your help.

Hi, agreed "do" has been crossed out indicating that Yorkshire doesn't apply. Similarly the entry for Yarmouth below your entry also has "do" crossed out. Yarmouth or Great Yarmouth isn't in Yorkshire. I think it said Norfolk but I can't get back to that Web page right now. Ciao.
