Might it be the address is recorded as it is because he died South of the river in Guys hospital and not at home?
Yes, possibly. If he was brought from the hospital, the home address might not have been readily to hand when the register was written up.

If you look more widely at the register, you'll find other people buried from outside the parish - it's not uncommon in the City.
