One gentleman did locate some information on Private McGregor a while back, but as it is Remembrance Weekend, I understand there are usually a variety of data sets that become available.

I think you will find that the information that jim1 provided back in July is all that has survived (although jim1 was able to add some regimental history and some insights of his own - you won't get better!).
