I think you will find, unfortunately, that what DTD has come up with is all that is to be found on line and the only way to sort them out is to apply for the records of James William Hudson - ignore the service number, you have (or can get presumably) his death certificate and hopefully have his date of birth.  With those the RAF should be able to distinguish the right one.

MaxD is absolutely correct. All that AIR78 shows you is full name (and we have three JWHs) and service number.

As mentioned in my first post you can get an approximate date and place of enlistment based on the number but nothing like squadrons or training can be obtained without ordering up his records from the MoD.
