Dear Rootschatters,

This is my old friend and mentor, Captain Tom Marler from Destin, Florida who passed away several years ago. He was a wonderful man and served his country for many years both as a sailor and as a role model who many young people looked up to. He was a pillar of the community of the small (back then) fishing community of Destin.

Would it be possible for a cleanup and colour , please? His many relatives and friends would be most appreciative to have a nice photo of him. He had reddish hair and blue eyes.

You both did a fabulous job of cleaning up and coloring Captain Tom's old Navy Photo!

The red hair, blue eyes and US Navy Uniform all look they are from an original color photograph!

Outstanding job from both of you! What a handsome young man he was in his prime! His family will be very pleased and surprised!  ;D
