See http://www.longlongtrail.co.uk/army/regiments-and-corps/the-british-infantry-regiments-of-1914-1918/suffolk-regiment/ 1st/5th went to Egypt and Palestine after Gallipoli.  He may have transferred, can you post his name and number?

The last of those numbers and some of the entries on his medal card tell us he served on into the 1920s and hence his service record will still be with the MOD so you can apply for it using the last number and see the whole of his service.  https://www.gov.uk/get-copy-military-service-records

We can't tell where he went after Gallipoli from the medal records alone, there will be nothing else on line.
