Where can I find a register of boys from 1848 to 58 age 5-15 looking for information on William James Roe 1843-1896 Born Poonah India but listed at Royal Military Asylum Chelsea at some point.


And any information on campaigns for his father
Father William Roe Sgnt Major born 1814-1889 Ireland at Inniskillen barracks. Served in India.
Passed, away Lambeth 1889

In the 1861 England Census he is listed as a monitor at Royal Military Asylum, Chelsea.

Do you have access to Ancestry? There are a couple of trees there with photographs and information on William and his father.

Thanks so much all especially Doree.yes have ancestry but only do a few months a year as very expensive. Where did you find him listed as a monitor please?
