Help with trench map
« on: Sunday 12 November 17 16:43 GMT (UK) »
Could someone check i have interpreted the reference correctly. I am looking for 57C.U8.c.9.7 for january 1917 and i think it refers to close to tick trench east of Ligny-Thilloy. Thanks

McMaster identifies four TickTrenches - the one in that map area runs in N 8 c d which is the area east of Ligny Thilloy.  Tick trench is marked there on the map I am looking at

U8 on the same map is south and east of that location just north of Sailly-Saillisel.
