Hi there

On one of the Ancestry records there is this information. Probate. Kate Kelly also known as Catherine died 29 September 1963 at St Augustines Nursing Home, Kearsney Manor Nr Dover, late of 14 Salisbury Road Dover. It states Kate was a widow and gives information of who the probate went to. Think this may be your Grandmother. Hope this helps.

The 1939 Register was a list of all civilians living in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Catherine was living at 16 Salisbury Road.

Barfrestone Churchyard
Charlton Cemetery
St Mary in Castro Churchyard
St James Old Churchyard
St Luke, Old Charlton

but doesn't have a C/Katherine Kelly in the area in 1963; nor does Deceasedonline.

Thank you Chris Doran.  Appreciate the help.  I have just received information from DDC Burials as to which cemetary she is interred in, along with my grandfather.  Amazing speedy service.

I don't know if you were ever able to obtain a photo of the grave. I live in Dover and would be happy to take one for you if you have the approximate location. Was it St James' Cemetery?
