What were Clara Josephine RYAN & her husband Metheun Young MORGAN buried

Hoping for some assistance please to locate the burial locations for Clara & Metheun.

Clara Josephine RYAN born 15 Jan 1900 at Drillham, Queensland was the eldest daughter and second eldest of nine children of Edward Joseph RYAN & Alice Fanny LANE.  The RYAN & LANE Families were pioneer families of the Dalby district.

Clara married  to 9 Apr 1924 Methuen Young MORGAN born 1900 Donald, Victoria son of  Godfrey MORGAN and Annie Jane PACE.

The Electoral Rolls for 1925 - 1963 have Clara & Metheun on "Arubial" at/near Condamine; I was unable to locate them for the 1958 ER although their son Methuen Young MORGAN is on the property.

By 1963 Clara &  Methuen  snr are back on Arubial however by the 1968 - 1977 only Clara and Methuen Young jnr [amongst others] are on the property.   

I located Clara's burial on FindMyPast for 13 Oct 1980 at Brisbane. edit QLD BDM has no identified for Clara's death [neither B or C].  However a search  on the Brisbane City Council Online Deceased Search for any one of the numerous cemeteries throughout Brisbane and the Catholic Cemetery at Nudgee failed to locate a burial for the couple. 

Methuen Young snr's burial was 29 Dec 1966 [FindMyPast] also by Cannon & Cripps and also Brisbane. edit QLD BDM has the identifier as B


Perhaps Methuen came to Brisbane for treatment and subsequently died in Brisbane and Clara returned to the property at Condamine. 

Maybe Clara also came to Brisbane for treatment and also passed away in Brisbane accounting for a noted Brisbane burial. 

I wondered if both Clara and Metheun's remains had been returned to the Condamine for burial and so checked the Western Downs Regional Council Online Deceased Search without success.  Australian Cemeteries doesn't have any data for the Condamine Cemetery and only German headstones for the Dalby Cemetery.

So I am left to wonder - where are Clara & Metheun buried

Austcemindex has a photo of a memorial to a Methuen John MORGAN d 4 May, 1942 aged 4 months at Old Nambour Cemetery. Perhaps a grandchild?

Interestingly Metheun's nor Clara's burial are not available on the Fraser Coast websites http://library.bundaberg.qld.gov.au/heritage/cemetery-registers or http://www.bundaberg.qld.gov.au/services/cemeteries/bundaberg/search

Qld death certificates detail place of burial.  Have you searched the newspapers of the day for their death and funeral notices?  Wouldn't be difficult as you have the dates of death and dates of burial.

Yes the death certificates would certainly give that information at a cost of $40+ which at this point in time is unaffordable.

Interestingly I have been unable to locate any newspaper articles of their death.

However I have emailed Fraser Coast library and they are getting back to me so with any luck the information is at hand.
