The edition of the book I have is later than the one in that index so my pages don't match up. I've found 2 women named Isabella Wilson who emigrated to Ontario during that time period. Can you provide any information on your Isabella - the name of her husband would help.

Thanks for the reply Jacquie!

Two of the Wilson women in my family were said to have been born in Ireland.

Isabella Wilson my GGG Grandmother
married to Thomas Todd Sr. born in Ireland
children: Hugh, Thomas, Archibald and Andrew
birth date unknown, Ireland, death date before 1851, Bruce County, Ontario

Ellen Wilson my GG Grandmother
married Thomas Todd Jr. born in Ireland
children: Emma Jane, Anna Marie, Mary Isabella, Herbert Wilson
born 1834 Ireland
died before 1871, Bruce County, Ontario

I find little information about these women in Canadian records.

Thanks, Donna

There's no match with your Isabella. Keep in mind that the Donald Whyte book is for Scottish emigrants only.

Thank you Jacquie for confirming that my Wilson ancestors are not in the book, it was a long shot.  No stone unturned sort of thing.

Best Wishes, Donna
