If you click on Chris1286 you will see his profile which shows that he hasn't been here since 15 November 2017. He might get an email to show that there is a reply on this thread, but he may be more likely to get a notification email if you send him a PM (Personal Message). This is assuming that he is still using the same email that RootsChat sends the notifications to.
To send a PM either click on the round symbol with a page in on the left under his name etc. or by clicking "Send PM" on his profile. You can only send a PM once you have made 3 posts on RootsChat.
