The 1851 address confirms the correct family as that is the address given when she married.

Thank you so much. I have struggled to find this family. I perhaps would assume that Robert may have looked after his young nephew until he was old enough to take the voyage from England to NZ in 1866 to meet up with is father.

... and by the way the Robert Daniel McLeod marriage is correct as his father was a cutler sometimes described as surgical instrument maker
