Need Help With "Cause Of Death"

Attached is the cause of death of a 28 year old female in 1910. Contributory cause is Hemorrhage, but can't decipher the main cause.

The main cause is 'Confinement'.

Thanks for your help.  Never heard of the term "confinement" being used as childbirth.  Appreciate your quick responses...now back to my tree.
