Cabinet makers
« on: Thursday 16 November 17 12:25 GMT (UK) »
My ancestors lived and worked in Whitehaven and from the late 1700s until 1865 carried on business as Cabinet makers, guilders and looking-glass manufacturers.  In 1787 an advertisement appeared in the local paper looking for skilled men to work on project/s in Newry. I have no more information about this but wondered did any of those who replied ever stay in Newry? The company name was W&M King cabinet makers,Whitehaven, Cumberland.

Any info would be great.
