Which port in 1612?
« on: Thursday 16 November 17 21:21 GMT (UK) »
The port circled in red is a foreign port, which in 1612 meant it could also be Scottish or Irish. Any suggestions (the merchant is Scottish)?

As you suggest Scottish, I’m wondering about Lymekyls (for Limekilns, Fife)?

I’m far from certain about the k, but I'm pretty sure it starts Lyme... and ends ...ls.

I think you are right - see the k in "mackrell" below.

Many thanks again,
