Looking for birth details on
Emily Turner (b) 1906 Approx as 5 Year old on 1911 Census
1911 Census states Hamsterley, Co Durham as birth place and mother Maiden name is Martha Isabella Cowie/Cowey
Father is William Turner
Looked all the usual places and cant find her

The GRO shows these two - could she actually have been registered as  Emma rather than Emily?

Could well have been Emma coz the silly moo got her own kids ages mixed up on the 1911 census so nothing would surprise me 😂
And yes Martha is correct I know all about her
So yup I would agree it's Emma even though she put Emily on the census 😩
