My great, great grandmother was baptised as Emily and appears on one census as Emma - I can see it going the other way round too

Emma and Emily were often used interchangeably.  The same applies to Ellen/Eleanor/Helena/Helen.  Always worth bearing these in mind when searches appear not to bear fruit.

Even found a neighbour Felicity = Fliss = LIZ.
