Margaret Golightly and Edward Wales - b.c. 1750? Newcastle upon Tyne?
« on: Saturday 18 November 17 22:49 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,

I have my 6xGt Grandparents as Edward Wales (b.c. 1750 Newcastle?) and Margaret Golightly.  I'd love to get further back, if possible.

Margaret married Edward Wales on 21st July 1774 at All Saints, Newcastle upon Tyne.

They had the following children between 1775 and 1792:

Frances
George
Elizabeth
Jane
Edward
Margaret
William
Thomas

Any help would be gratefully received!

Many thanks, Emma

There are a couple of dozen Wales, wills/admins in the pre 1857 database for Durham/Northumberland (none for Edward)
http://familyrecords.dur.ac.uk/nei/data/simple.php

If you run out of other options it  may be worth a look through to see if any of them mention an Edward as a beneficiary/executor?
