family History Christmas Gifts Ideas - Restorers waiting!!
« on: Sunday 19 November 17 13:17 GMT (UK) »
Christmas is fast approaching and what better way to give a thoughtful gift than a digitally restored and/or coloured photograph. So forum users tell your friends to dust of the old photos, get them scanned at high quality DPI 300-600 and post them over to rootsChat photograph Restoration section for restore and colour.

And the best thing it does not cost a penny - just some time to organise.

Get those scanners working overtime  :D

All the restorers are waiting for some TOP NOTCH scans and photo's.

Once they are done you can print them and frame them or keep them as digital format....

Cheers,

Restorers : Please do not use my restorations without asking my permission first. Thanks.

Good quality size scans will mean much better restores >> hint hint :-)

What a lovely idea. The restorers must be so generous to give up their own time for free.

Thanks to them all.

What a wonderful  idea. I had a black and white  photo of my Mum and her Mum coloured by the Restoration Board. The photo was treasured by my Mum and sat pride and place in the Lounge.
I now have it as a reminder of my Mum. The gift that keeps on giving.
