Marriages by Couple Beggar
« on: Monday 20 November 17 02:52 GMT (UK) »
Anyone encountered ancestors married by a couple beggar? I suspect one particular set of ancestors were, but I can't see any way to prove it absolutely.

Have only seen reference to them a couple of times when a couple married later in Church.
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Have you looked at the IGRS' Early Marriage Index?
https://www.irishancestors.ie/resources/unique-resources/igrs-early-irish-marriages-index/

It incorporates the Schultze marriages - he was the most famous of the couple beggar ministers.
