Patricks of Middleton and Great Walsingham
« on: Monday 20 November 17 20:04 GMT (UK) »
My ancestor Matthew Patrick was born in Middleton in about 1761. He married in Gt Walsingham in 1786. I am sure, although the Middleton parish registers were not being well kept up at the time, that Matthew was born in Middleton, son of Henry and Judith Patrick. Henry died in 1761 and Judith remarried. There is a record of a John Patrick in the apprenticeship records for Middleton, dated 1738. He may have been born in Kings Lynn. Has anyone any information about, or connection with either Henry Patrick or Matthew Patrick?

amondg   That is great news. Thank you! Since last November I have discovered that Henry Patrick was born in Dereham and Judith Welton in Cranworth. I can trace some of their ancestors. Judith had a brother Matthew Welton born 1723.
