Dating of group photo please possibly the Glover family ?
« on: Tuesday 21 November 17 23:56 GMT (UK) »
Hello all

An approximate date of when this photo was taken would be appreciated. Once again, an old family photo has been found with no writing on the back to identify who is in it, or when the photo was taken. A fantastic photo to have - but the family has no idea who they are.

We can hazard a wild guess as to who the family group might be, but an approximate date of when it was taken might help identify individuals.

Thanks in advance
Meg

I have a similar photo of my fathers family. He is a young boy so I  can date it to about 1912/1914. I hope this is correct.

Hi,

I think the women's dresses look very similar to the "Womens fashion 1908-Sports clothes" picture shown here,

I wish they had hats on!

Oh my goodness. Thank you all so very much!

Daisy - I think you have hit the proverbial nail on the head with the link you posted! Even the ladies hairstyles are the same in the family photo.

Once again, thank you so much :-)

Regards
Meg
