In this Register I see the following entry under Regiment Of Militia for Hugh McGrogan:

Date of Admission: 24/4/16
Residence: Ballys*n
1847:
        Charlemont,
        Died 19/6,
        ??1707/16
Can anyone tell me what the entries under "1847" mean please?

Perhaps this post needs some amplification:
Hugh McGrogan from Ballyscullion parish was my GGG Grandfather who served some 21 years in the Londonderry Militia from 1794 until 10 April 1816.
He retired Sergeant "in consequence of rheumatism and being worn out" according to Militia Record WO119/33/186  Royal Hospital Kilmainham A9689
Could this be the same Hugh McGrogan now appearing in the Royal Hospital Chelsea Register, as seen on Ancestry.co.uk,  with an admission date 24 April 1816?

The notes beneath "died 19/6"  look like some sort of administrative notation which I'd suggest have no significant meaning now.  There are similar notations beneath other "died" records.  So he died 19 Jun 1847.

The discharge date of the worn out man is 10 April 1816 and the admission date in the second record is 24 April 1816.  There is a date on the Chelsea stamp on the discharge form which I can persuade myself says 24 April on it (need to look really close!).

The last time I looked for Hugh McGrogan, on findmypast -military, only one record came up, now I have three!
I wonder what this Militia uniform looked like and where they were  posted between 1790 and 1820?

The Londonderry Militia were a part time organisation that didn't, unless embodied to supplement the regular force for some specific event, deploy outside Ireland and occasionally England. Broadly, he would spend his time at home in his civilian job, turning up for a couple of weeks annual camp and occasional weekend training.  Some info here https://www.royal-irish.com/stories/the-irish-militia.  Might be worth contacting the site who may have more on their deployment.
